From racing, themed dinners and holiday parties, to quiet summer evening raft-ups, there is always something going on at TSC!
As my first official act as your new Commodore, I would like to welcome all Texoma Sailing Club Members! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and a fantastic start to the New Year. This is my first Club update of 2023.
As my second official act, I would like to thank Nicole Spruill for three great years as Commodore. Nicole did a tremendous job keeping the Club going through some unusual circumstances. The Club is running smoothly, thanks to Nicole and all of last year’s Board.
The TSC website, our lifeline to the public and a lure for potential new members, is functioning well, and a great source of information on Club activities, thanks to our Webmaster Janie Gulley. The TSC website is redesigned and fully operational. If you have any photos or other material you wish considered for posting on that site, please reach out to Janie at janiegulley@hotmail.com.
Race Captain Barney Gulley published the 2023 Sailing Season Program. Check below on this page or Racing/Cruising page . Please take a moment to review and let him know if you have any questions or concerns.
As a reminder, TSC Club dues are now at our regular rate. The Club is very grateful for those members who opted to pay early, back in December. As a result, we ended 2022 in a much stronger financial position. Thank you very much!
Our first “Training Session, Learning the Ropes” and Ladies’ Soup Cook Off are scheduled for February 11, 2023. This will be our official kickoff for the 2023 Texoma Sailing Club social and sailing calendar. Check below or on the Events page for a full list of our calendar.
TSC Secretary Mary Nichols sent a notice by email for those events. Thank you in advance for responding timely. This feedback is vital for our planning decisions.
Looking forward to a great, fun year. Thanks everyone!

Texoma Sailors,
Welcome to the start of the 2023 Texoma Sailing Club Racing Season. Our first race is Saturday, April 1. This race will be a flotilla style race. The long term forecast looks to be PERFECT weather for sailing, so let’s all turn out for this race.
The Skipper’s Meeting will be at 10am in the Clubhouse. First start will be 12Noon. Please remember that the club has modified the handicapping guidelines where boats are now required to declare their whisker pole length for handicapping. Be sure to fill out the whisker pole declaration on the registration form so we can make the appropriate adjustment to your handicap.
The Notice of Race can be found on the Racing/Cruising page of our website.
After the race, ….. stay for the Pot Luck Dinner at 6pm in the Clubhouse. This is a covered dish dinner so bring your favorite to share. There is no charge but we will ask for contributions to cover the costs of beverages.
